Anita and Alexandra planned a perfect itinerary for us and answered all our questions. Everything went off perfectly from the gentleman who first met us upon our arrival at the airport, to the car rental, to the hospitality we received at each of the hotels. The scenery (mountains, glaciers, geysers, rainbows, etc) was beautiful, the different hotels were excellent (we enjoyed the farm the best) and the included breakfasts were plentiful and delicious.
We saw many animals(whales, reindeer, seals, birds, etc. We have many fond memories from our time there and the 1,500 pictures we took. We are very pleased to highly recommend Nordic Visitor to all who want an unforgettable vacation in Iceland. All staff we dealt with in Norway were excellent and friendly. We had a very enjoyable vacation. The 'pack' sent to us prior to the holiday had some very useful additional information which helped us decide on extra sites we wanted to see.
All the vouchers were easily understandable and the map was very useful (although the sat-nav helped too. Hilmar was a great partner and guide through our time there.
The accommodations and the personal recommendations (including homemade ice cream and what football match to attend). Sjofn did a great job. I know we didn't give her a lot of lead time and she was able to give us great accommodations.
All papers were in order. She let us know about the road problems. For us, the Itinerary book was very nice but didn't have to be such high quality. We had a wonderful time in Iceland. All of the guesthouses that we stayed at were amazing (most notably Guesthouse Nonni, Hrifunes Guesthouse, and Gest-Inn Guesthouse).
Everything was perfectly planned and laid out for us, with the independence to choose which activities we wanted to do each day. Helga was a wonderful correspondent and went above and beyond to make sure that our trip was stress-free. She answered all of our many questions and made us feel extremely prepared.Thank you, Nordic Visitor. I have nothing but praise for the tour provided by Nordic Visitor, for the contact I had with them prior to arrival, and their help in arranging our accommodation (we were three friends, needing three beds in one room, so a little difficult) and even the room we wanted.
Our hotel was awesome, the staff super friendly, the breakfast amazing, and our room very comfortable with wonderful views. The only feedback I have is good. I would recommend Nordic Visitor to anyone. How to setup Webpack and Webpack Dev Server (2019)
I thought they were wonderful and that contributed to our having an amazing time and wanting to return to Iceland. My wife and I wanted to sample two contrasting lifestyles of Scandinavia - the more rustic one of the Arctic circle and the urban quality of the cities.
As nothing seemed to fully satisfy my needs I decided to contact Nordic Visitor and asked for advice. It turned out to be a great decision - their impressively broad offer was explained to me in exhaustive detail by a Nordic Visitor Travel Consultant who was also able to make suggestions when I requested for it. My final choice was a combination of two existing tours with certain modifications to suit all my needs.
The care of all the details (including upgrades of the transport classes I decided to request for later) was taken by the Nordic Visitor Travel Consultant who did a fantastic job - everything was done promptly and worked impeccably throughout the entire tour. Nordic Visitor is highly recommended if you want to have a stress-free experience in booking your holiday and afterwards focusing on nothing more but on the enjoyment it brings.
We used Nordic Visitor to book our Iceland new year trip fairly last minute. Can't fault them - we had a fantastic experience and the whole process was so straightforward and felt effortless.
Before travelling we were in regular contact with our agent (Hafdis) who was quick to respond on working days and answered all our questions. We were free to book extra activities as and when we found them (which we did a few times. They were easy to contact whilst in Iceland as they gave us a local mobile phone with credit. We got upgraded rooms in half the (fantastic) hotels we stayed in and our car was upgraded too.
Thanks for your help - our trip was great. I am a lifelong independent and pragmatic traveller who is used to arranging and organising all aspects of my trips including rearranging etc.
This was my first time booking an organised package and have been more than pleased with your outstanding service and very happy that I chose you. We were extremely satisfied with the services provided. Nordic visitor supplied us with everything and more needed to make our vacation in Iceland a dream come true. We have already recommended them to our family planning a trip next year. I used Nordic Visitor to book our honeymoon in Iceland and it was wonderful. We wished our time there would never end.
Thank you Nordic Visitor. My husband and I chose to do the 10 day self guided Romance Around Iceland tour for our honeymoon. It couldn't have been more perfect.Kumail Nanjiani for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Comedy:The Big Sick will be nominated for Best Picture in the "Musical or Comedy" and Holly Hunter is a lock in Best Supporting Actress.
Nanjiani and his writing partner and wife, Emily V. Gordon, will probably get a Best Screenplay nomination, too.
But I hope he isn't overlooked for Best Actor, just because he's playing a version of himself. His performance is equally hilarious and heartwarming, and I want to see his name alongside sure things like James Franco (The Disaster Artist) and Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out). Christopher Plummer for Best Supporting Actor: For the drama of it all. It's already insane how quickly director Ridley Scott was able to excise Kevin Spacey from All the Money in the World and replace him with Plummer. If Plummer, a three-time Globe nominee (with one win), were able to nab a Best Supporting Actor nomination, too, it would be wiiiiild.
He filmed his scenes, like, last week. Mandy Moore for Best TV Actress, Drama: Moore scored her first Golden Globe nomination last year for her portrayal of Rebecca Pearson on This Is Us, but the current second season features some of her best acting work yet. Freddie Highmore for Best TV Actor, Drama: The Globes often recognize the newest success story and this year, it's easily The Good Doctor, which is the season's most-watched new show.
Highmore, who showcased his enviable range on Bates Motel, is the not-so-secret weapon to the ABC medical drama's quick rise. Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon who has autism and savant syndrome, he adds a level of heart and warmth to his character's daily struggle to adapt socially and professionally that has struck a chord with audiences. Biel turned heads in the dark and gripping crime drama, The Sinner, in her excellent portrayal of Cora Tannetti, a young wife and mother who stabs a man to death in front of her family on a public beach but doesn't know why.
Biel delivered a career-defining performance in the eight-episode series, convincingly peeling back a complex woman's layers as the episodes went on, and proved she's more than ready (and deserving) to become a serious awards contender. Alison Brie for Best TV Actress, Comedy: Brie is mesmerizing as actress-turned-pro wrestler Ruth Wilder, aka Zoya the Destroya, on Netflix's GLOW and we're pretty confident she'll score her first nomination come Monday morning. If anything, Brie should be recognized solely for her memorable (and impressive) one-woman wrestling scene.
Jonathan Groff for Best TV Actor, Drama: There's something compelling about Groff in Netflix's psychological drama, Mindhunter, and his work could lead to his very first Globe nomination. The two-time Tony nominee is a force in the theater world, but he's quietly been taking the small screen by storm with critically-acclaimed roles (see: HBO's Looking). With Mindhunter, Groff ups the ante in his most unexpected role to date as a baby-faced FBI profiler obsessed with hunting serial killers. It would be yet another incentive for people to sign up for Amazon Prime.
Free shipping, free movie streaming, free Kindle.
As a Prime user, I actually buy a lot more from Amazon. Why go to the store to buy a pack of batteries. I can get them cheap on Amazon and have them in 2 days. At first, Bloggers were saying that Amazon was selling the Kindle at a loss. Now they are saying that the Kindle costs little to make. Either way, if it is true that they are giving away the Kindle for Prime members, then this is clearly ambition on a grand scale.
Perhaps the direction Amazon could take in providing free, or at least below cost, hardware would be to enhance its capabilities to purchase more than just e-books. The new ad-included Kindle will ship starting May 3, RIGHT on time to match the declining forecast line. It currently costs 140 USD.
Is everyone else seeing something that I am not. The key is that when the price drops it will match predictionbut the price drops are erratic, so may stay above the curve for a while. Like the free digital copy of a movie that you get when you buy the actual DVD belgand As long as you redeem it within a few months after the initial release date.
Timaree Drat, I just got a kindle this Christmas. TinyVox Time counts too. Wilbur Four data points is a slam dunk. You should make zillions on the market!. Fred Oliveira Wilbur: first of all, allow me to congratulate you for the brilliant, witty, and glorious remark. David C Dean Relax, he made a reasonable and valid point. I have the same idea wondering how much they are willing to pay.
Nancy I hope this forecast true. Brian They could give the unionized printers free Kindles AFP BRILLIANT. Makes sense to me. Dsawyer They need a family sharing plan with the books.
AJACs Set up a specific account just for kindle books and register all your purchases with that account. Tabretro I wonder if that will extend to Prime customers of non-US stores. The journey to Flam was among the highlights, though we loved all the cities. We were glad we included Finland as Helsinki was really fun. Quality of hotels was exceptional value for money. The service provided by staff at hotels and car rental exceptional.
Best tour operator I've ever used. From the first point of contact very professional and fully understood my needs from the trip. Airport collection and collection for car rental, exactly on time. Collection for our flight home exactly on time. Iceland, the best county I've every visited cant wait to return. Everyone was amazing at the company that Nordic Visitor used for this trip, very professional people, the staff very friendly and very knowleagable of the are, loved it. This is my second trip with Nordic Visitor and I am a big fan of this company and the staff, always answering my questions and customizing my needs of what I want to do.
The overall experience in Lapland was amazing and very well organized, you always feel taking care of without been pushing, so you feel also free to do your things. I highly recommend travelling with Nordic Visitor. Nordic Visitor made everything SO EASY. All I had to worry about was showing up on time. Everything was taken care of, and it really gave me peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy my vacation.
We enjoyed both the quality and variety of accommodations in our program. We were particularly happy that we chose guesthouses rather than hotels because it gave us more extended contact with locals on a personal basis.
All the hotels were fantastic. The suggested tours were all appropriate. The timing and deadlines were clearly communicated and the directions easy to follow.
Sirry did a wonderful job of working in some extra days for us at the beginning and the end of our trip.
